A God You Can Trust

JOB 13:15  Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

I Peter 1:3-8, 13

Many things laid up in store for today, a day like no other day!

God knew we’d be here beyond the physical life of Wm. Branham and made provision:

CHRIST.IS.THE.MYSTERY  63-0728  1-4    Bless our dear beloved pastor, the shepherd. We pray that You'll anoint him with the Holy Spirit of Thy Word and reveal to them and feed the flock.... Just awhile ago when You showed the vision that the little tabernacle here... But to store up the food, that there would come a time when this would all be needed... When we seen Brother Sothmann and Brother Wood ready to cross over into another country to... But You said, "Store up this food here for the time." Lord, reverently I've tried to do that. And now, this morning in this lesson that we have thought of, I pray that You'll cap it all off, Lord, to show that You're God, and this is Your Word and Your Truth. Grant it, Lord, that the people might feed thereon and grow fat as it was in the grace of God, that they'd see that it's God's great mercy to us in this day.

AMOS 8:11  Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

I Pet.1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salv. ready to be revealed in the last time.

Kept: (Gr.)  to guard, protect by a military guard, either to prevent hostile invasion, or to keep the inhabitants of a besieged city from flight  2) metaph. under the control of the Mosaic law, that he might not escape from its power; to protect by guarding, to keep: by watching and guarding to preserve one for the attainment of something

Examples: II Cor.11:32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the they of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:

Gal. 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

Phil. 4:7  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

When He says we are kept, He is putting a lot into this, the thought of military resources implies all out war and whatever  strategy and risk is needed to keep this thing in question.

So He’s able to (1) reserve an inheritance, incorruptible in an incorruptible dimension, but

            (2) He is able to keep us through faith even in the midst of a perverse and corrupt generation even before that time of entering into the immortal realm.

MATTHEW 8:5-13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Believed: (Gr.)  pisteuo   to be persuaded of; place confidence in; used in the NT of the conviction and trust to which a man is impelled by a certain inner and higher prerogative and law of soul; to trust in Jesus or God as able to aid either in obtaining or in doing something: saving faith; mere acknowledgment of some fact or event: intellectual faith

I am convinced that many of the problems we often face simply are a lack of trust in God, the ability to commit and leave something in His capable hands. Many of our worries and fears and         frustrations come because we dwell on the impossibility of circumstances, and even though we read about and have heard about the power and ability of an all-powerful God, we lose many          battles because of the mental struggles we let rage and they often undermine the revelation of the will of God and the simple trust He wants us to have in Him, even when it looks so    impossible from our end.

Example: LEADERSHIP.FOLLOW.ME  65-1031A  98    And then Pharaoh's daughter come out and was going to get him, you know, and she pulled him out. ... You know, your mother thinks you're the prettiest child in the world; she should do that. …Then God put in Pharaoh's daughter, the king's daughter, all the love that a mother could have for a little baby. Her heart just fell for him. She said, "That's my baby." …So Miriam was right there on hand; she said, "I'll go get you the right mother."

"Well, you go get her.  102    She said, "You know what, I'm going to give you three hundred dollars a week to raise that baby. And you can stay in the palace." See how God does when you trust Him, when you're sure of faith. That baby was a prophet, and she knowed.

CHRIST.IS.THE.MYSTERY  63-0728  8-4    And I said, "Again the Scripture said this, that the Angels of God are encamped about those who fear Him. So in another world where the five senses does not declare... The five senses only contacts this world. If you had no feeling, you couldn't feel nothing. Feeling wouldn't mean nothing to you; that'd be another world. If you had no sight, what you look at would be another world to you; you'd know nothing about it. So these five senses is the only thing that God let us loose to. Now, there is another one called faith. But by faith you walk up a ladder, and finally you can get so high until you break into another world, which is visions. There you can see; just like if you never knowed what this was you was feeling, with your sense of feeling, never seen it, then your eyes come open, you could see it.

Moses Parents:

HEBREWS 11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.

LAW.HAVING.A.SHADOW  56-0621  E-30    And how that that day when they pushed him out in the flags and bulrushes, how God rose from His throne, great robe drop around Him, walked out there, and He said, "Come here, Gabriel, all you Angels, come out here. Look down here; I've got somebody believes Me. I give it to them, and they're giving it back. …Said, "... If we keep it, they'll kill it; we'll lose it, but if we give it back to God, we'll keep it." And in this little bark that you're sailing in tonight, you've got a precious thing in there; it's a soul. If you keep it, you'll lose it. Go on keep it, go on out to the world and act like the rest of them; you'll lose it. But if you'll give it back to the One Who gave it to you, you'll keep it. Just believe Him.

E-31    And they put this little baby in the ark and pushed him out. I can hear God say, "Gabriel, come here a minute." Call ten thousand Angels on marching orders, and line them all up and down the Nile. "You see that not any crocodile comes near that. And when he gets into a whirlpool, see that it gets out all right." You're going to...?... many whirl-pools in this life, my brother, but if God has called Angels on marching orders to take care of it, don't worry, He will get you out of it. Notice, and the little ark was pitched. I can imagine why they put that tar on it, you know likes out on the streets? Old crocodile starts to put his nose up there, what a smell. He backed off. And we watch him, all at once, he becomes a flusterated, and away he goes. Why? Gabriel's setting up on top of that ark, floating down the river. That's the reason they couldn't touch it. It would been give back to the One that gave it.

E-32    And that's the way it is tonight; God lets His Angels have watch over us. "The Angels of God are encamped about." They don't go back and forth; they stay here. I like that. "The Angels of God are encamped about those who fear Him." I can hear Gabriel say, "But, Lord, where are You going to be at all this time?"

"I'm going to be on the receiving end, down at the other end." He will be down there to receive it when it gets there. There's where He's standing tonight: on the receiving end. He is standing on the portals of glory, on the receiving end, to receive His children. And someday, when life is over He will reach down and wind the end of that highway of holiness around His hand, give it a big pull. And when He does, where she's broke here, He will lift every saint right back up into that realm of eternity again, and she'll roll on through the ages. He's on the receiving end. What you scared about? Afraid He won't do it? Yes, He will. As sure as there's a God in heaven, He will do it. And He's on the receiving end.

ISAIAH 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.13 Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let (hinder) it?

God’s will is never frustrated! Sometimes things turn out as we want, sometimes His will is not our will and that can be difficult to take! The test to our trust in God always comes when His ways    and our ways don’t match. Your reaction speaks of your faith.

No matter how difficult or painful the circumstances, the Lord is righteous in all His ways.

PSALMS 145:17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. 20 The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

Our God is not a God of accidents, He is a God of appointments!

JOB 23:14 For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.
